When eyeglass lenses are edged in the highest of quality edging units it is very common
that the bevel or the finish on the outside of your lens is not complete. We like to hand
finish our lenses so not only do they look much nicer when the person is wearing the glasses
from the front and the side, also this process eliminates the sharp edge which could be
harmful to the client and cause problems of the lenses chipping during the adjustment period. |

We know that after these lenses are hand edged and polished, not only do they look better,
but they function better. It does take a couple of extra minutes by a skilled technician
to finish the lenses to look like the picture below, but the benefit to our clients is immeasurable.
