Choosing lens design and shape for your Vision Fore Golfing eyeglasses. |
|
While any lens shape can be hosted by a rimless frame, we have found that there is no need for
thousands of shapes of lenses for our Vision Fore Golfing eyeglasses. There has to be enough room
in the eyeglass lens shape to accommodate at least a seg-height of 20mm, and we have six popular
shapes that we have found to work best with our golfing eyeglass design. |
|
The physics of the eyeglass lenses themselves are what makes the lens shapes work. The golfing
eyeglass lens starts off with a very soft, smooth corridor that allows you to see the golf ball
on the ground, and then the power rapidly increases below that to allow you to see your score card.
This cannot be accomplished in small lens designs. |
 |
Samples of the six lens shapes that we use for successful fittings can be seen at any of the
Vision Fore Golfing Dispensaries, and images of them can also be seen in our
catalogue section on our website. If it is a custom lens shape
that you want, we know how to create it so that the measurements turn out accurate.
We can create your own custom shape for an additional fee. |

Premium lenses used in Vision Fore Golfing eyeglasses will be chosen for you according to your
prescription requirements from Zeiss, Rodenstock, or Sola1. While Varilux lenses are wonderful
for office eyeglasses, they do not give the proper focal points to allow a person to see
the golf ball. If you are considering an pair of office eyeglasses in addition to your golfing
eyeglasses, premium Varilux progressive lenses are available, and can be mounted for you
in the same kind of rimless Silhouette frames. |
