Up Close and Personal with Paul Boyko, Jr. |
 |
|
|
Born, raised and educated in Essex County, Paul Boyko Jr. graduated from the celebrated optician
course at Ryerson College in Toronto, Ontario. Following in the footsteps of his father, Paul Boyko Sr.,
Boyko Jr passed the College of Opticians Board exams and became a licensed optician in July 1978. |
|
After being trained and schooled by the Executive of Imperial Optical in Toronto, Boyko Jr. accepted
his first management position with the company in Thunder Bay, Ontario After further honing his superior
management skills in Northern Ontario, Boyko Jr. returned to Windsor to work with his father at
Imperial Optical before eventually opening Visions of Canada in beautiful downtown Windsor in 1991.
It was of utmost importance for Boyko Jr. to return to Windsor’s city centre to open up his very own
business as the family name was synonymous with optical excellence in that location. |
|
Visions of Canada quickly became renowned for producing the world’s thinnest eyeglass lenses and while
the company’s well-earned stellar reputation for superior craftmansmanship and personal service in the
optical industry was born in Windsor, the good word about Visions of Canada spread around the globe. |
|
A truly international company, in addition to its head dispensary in Windsor,
Visions of Canada also has a location in Novi, Michigan. |
|
Paul Boyko Jr’s latest and perhaps greatest creation, Vision Fore Golfing, was launched in 2005.
A North American-wide launch of Vision for Golfing is planned for 2010. |
