The evolution of transitions lenses has been steady, if not unspectacular. In their earliest form,
transitions simply did not work, and transitions 2 barely changed color. The introduction of
transitions 3 saw a lens was much better. However, transitions 3 lenses still did not get as dark
as most people wanted, and still had a green color to them when wearers came indoors when the lenses
were supposed to lighten down. |

Some of our clients told us that while they enjoyed the transition 3s, they also felt that the lenses
did not get as dark as they wished. That problem has been fixed. If anything, the patients tell us
that they get too dark. If this becomes the problem, we use the transitions brown instead of the grey. |
Transitions has continually evolved, every few years dramatically offering improvements
over the previous version. There was an incredible improvement that hit the market in 2003
but the best improvement yet arrived in 2008. In 2008 Transitions release the most advanced
photochromic technology ever, with lenses that now change faster than ever from clear indoors
