You went back to the eye doctor, the doctor looked them over and said the prescription was correct and there was nothing else more that could be done. You blame yourself because you could not get used to these glasses, and you felt it was you and not the actual lens design or manufacturing process. Since you may be a professional in your own industry, how would you know what dispensed to you was suitable for your eye condition or even if the glasses were manufactured close enough to tolerance level?   CREATING THE PERFECT PAIR OF EYEGLASSES FOR YOU! To create a pair of eyeglasses that you can expect to place on your face, look through them, and see a crystal clear vision without all the distortions that come from inferior lens designs or poorly manufactured eyeglasses, the first thing that you have to start with is an eye exam where the professional knows that your intention is to buy a premium pair of eyeglasses. We are not trying to say that eye exams could differ according to the price that you pay for your glasses. What we are trying to say is that there is a scientific process to doing eye exams for high performance eyeglass lenses. An eye doctor beside a deep discount optical store may not go to the same extent in an eye exam knowing that the quality of the glasses are not going to match the thoroughness of his eye exam. When eyeglasses are deeply discounted and rushed through a manufacturing process, they are less likely to match the skill level of the doctor who wrote the prescription.   The second part is the fitting process. Our fitting process to create eyeglasses that you can golf with on is very intense. This procedure alone could take up to an hour. We first examine your old eyeglasses to see what you were accustomed to using in prescription, lens design, and fitting techniques. We then go into a fitting procedure with our sample products to find the correct lens shape and size of lenses and frames that would fit you properly. We start using our fitting cross method to find out exactly the placement of your pupils (visual axis) in the eyeglass lenses. The manufacturers have writing on the front side of an eyeglass lens which is normally not visible to most people. We normally have to use an opti-visor to find the placement fitting dots on the front surface of the eyeglass lenses. PICTURE 1 the verification cross lines do not match up with the centre of her pupils. PICTURE 2 the verification cross lines all match with the center of the pupil. The ultimate goal is to get the sweet spot of the progressive lens directly in front of your eye so that there is no effort in having to use these eyeglasses. You can have the best in eyeglass frames and lenses, but if the lenses are not in the frames in the correct position, the glasses don’t perform to their peak level. We have them ground on the Rolls Royce of grinding systems to make sure the prescription is ground to the doctor’s specifications. Many doctors have different refracting techniques and we are not saying that they are wrong, just that there is a certain procedure in an eye examination that will allow you to see your best out of our golfing eyeglasses. PHASE 2 - COMPREHENSIVE FITTING PROCESS This has to be done to make sure the eyeglass lenses are correctly positioned in front of your eye so that you can tap into all the sharper clearer portions of the lens. You can purchase the best lenses in the world with a very high quality eyeglass frame, but if the lenses are not lined up with your eyes, the performance of the product will not match the price you paid for it. PHASE 3 - OBTAINING PREMIUM EYEGLASS LENSES Our company is one of the rare optical stores that has direct accounts to Zeiss, Rodenstock, Essilor, and Hoya.
