The anti-glare coating on all of our lenses helps eliminate the starbursts
that come from oncoming headlights when driving in the dark. |
|
It also helps decrease the back-glare off the lenses when someone is driving up
beside you and the light hits the lens and reflects back into your face. |
In Japan 98% of all eyeglasses have anti glare on them. In the USA, it is about 15%. The reasoning
for this is that there were many poor quality anti-glare coatings introduced to the US market and people
had bad experiences with them and just automatically assume that all anti-glares are the same. |
It has been our experience that, when people order eyeglass lenses without anti-glare, they instantly
notice the reflections at night time and the annoying glare off their lenses from fluorescent lighting. |
Once accustomed to using a good anti-glare coating, customers who have ordered
glasses without anti-glare coating return to have the anti-glare coating put on. |
